Fu Baoshi was a great admirer of Shi Tao and, at the age of 18, changed his name to " Bao Shi "-meaning embracing " Shi Tao ".
In June of the same year, Fu Baoshi went back to China due to his mother's serious illness ( his mother already passed away after his return ).
In 1958, in memory of the 20-year anniversary of Fu s death, the government contributed to maintaining the old house and planned to build a memorial for Fu Baoshi.
